The Rich Color of this Maple Vase

This beautiful distinctively grained, richly colored bowl was turned from Maple. Note the distinct delineation between the various grains displayed, particularly on the outside base of this vase. You can click on this link or on the Maple Vase image above for a full-sized view. This Maple Vase, from Front Royal, Virginia (at 6th and Virginia Avenue), came from a tree leaning on a house.
